About the project
Welcome to the biomarkers on-line tool of the ARRAINA project “Advanced Research Initiatives for Nutrition & Aquaculture” to identify easy and highly informative nutritionally-regulated biomarkers for the five fish species of the project (Atlantic salmon, rainbow trout, carp, European sea bass, gilthead sea bream).
The tool is designed for single or combined searches of biomarkers informative of nutrient requirements or changes related to specific biological/metabolic processess.
The tool also includes information for the assessment of fish safety and quality at harvest.
The tool will be periodically updated with the results derived from WP1 “Identification and validation of targeted integrative tools to predict and measure metabolic and health effects” and feedback inputs of other WPs in the Project.
